Why didn't somebody tell me about this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've used A2OSX. It's an entirely new operating system, so it doesn't work with Geos or MouseDesk or anything else. It uses ProDOS for the file system.

It works fine on an Apple IIc or a 128K Apple IIe.

So there's no software for it at all? So much for that idea. Is there any practical multitasking software for the Apple //c? I heard a late version of AppleWorks could multitask.

There are some utilities included. There's an assembler. You could write software for it. But it doesn't run anything that wasn't made to work with it.

There is no practical multitasking software for any 8-bit Apple II model. Only the Apple IIgs has GNO/ME, the multitasking environment.
