I have several drives. All are in good physical, because they are legacy, I have no real way to test them. The person I got them from told be they work. $20 a piece. I have both DD and HD units
 
I just wish I was closer to your location. I have the only one I've ever seen, acquired over 10 years ago in a thrift shop.

They are quite heavy but for IBM collectors should be a must. Even tho hard drives made copying easier.
I would say they are "rare" and will undoubtably only increase in value. Great find.
