So, I've got a Z-171 I wanna get going. The floppy drives won't floppy, however, and having crossed paths with this sort of drive on the Telcon Zorba i'm suspecting cap issues off the bat. My plan B is to install a pair of Goteks since I don't really feel like wrestling with them that hard, however, but these are third height drives and will need a special mounting bracket. Anyone cooked something up for that?

Some Compaqs used 1/3 height 3.5” floppy drives in a 1/3 height 5.25 in slot, with a metal bracket to make up the difference. You’d have to come up with something to make the bezel fill up on each side though.
