Tandy PLUS card: LEIA MV-1, what is it?

Picked one up off Ebay. Seems to be missing some chips, but I'm curious what it was.

I will boldly hazard the guess that it’s a serial port. I’ll even go so far as say the missing chips are an 8250 UART and either a 74ls688 or a PAL.

Yeah I looked up all those ICs. 1488p and 1489p are some sort of RS232 buffers or something, so I do believe you are correct...
