Quick question: the Tandy 1000EX needs a DOS disk to boot into since it has no HDD and no DOS in ROM, correct? So, what version will I need? If I were to get the disks for MS-DOS 3.3, would that boot up as it needs?
Yes, non-Tandy DOS 3.3 boots it fine too.
I would try Tandy DOS 3.2-3.3. Your Tandy will be more functional for it (such as the MODE commands).
You can find them here:
I would suggest starting with the DOS 3.2 that comes with the Tandy 1000 SX, which uses the same BIOS as the EX.
