Quick question: the Tandy 1000EX needs a DOS disk to boot into since it has no HDD and no DOS in ROM, correct? So, what version will I need? If I were to get the disks for MS-DOS 3.3, would that boot up as it needs?

Right, no HDD and no DOS in ROM.

It originally came with DOS 2.11. But MS-DOS 3.3 should work. (I will check in a bit and post back for sure.)

My 1000RL/HD came with MS-DOS 3.3 on ROM, which struck me as odd. I expected a Tandy-ized version. I can confirm though that any PC version of DOS will work fine on it, the Tandy versions are nice but not necessary.

Good link btw Hierophant - that'll come in handy for me as well I'm sure.
