Some people don't visit the "events" section here on the forum, so I'm posting here in the general section instead .... only TWO WEEKS until the next VCF East. Anyway, we're at 20 exhibitors and counting for this year's show - it's going to be the biggest VCF East yet! I'm definitely on the wrong side of the atlantic :/ I would love to come.

Perhaps it is time to do something similar in sweden? I see that Retro Gathering is comming up, is any of the swedes here involved?

I should try to organise a New Zeland Vintage Computing event...if only so I can experience one!

Seriously though, I would love to go to an event like this, and hear the likes of David Ahl and other pinoeers speak, and meet like-minded people.

I need to start saving my pennies. It takes a lot of pennies to get there from New Zealand but according to Evan's interview on the Retrobits podcast, at least one other New Zealander has found his way to this event. (I'm assuming it was a "him" not a "her")

Yes, me and Trooper (among others not present on this forum) are in the steering committee. We will have an internal meeting tomorrow so within the next week we hope to update the webpage.

(sorry for invading your VCF thread, but it looks like a great event)

Final count is 23 exhibitors. (Or 22.5; one person is only coming the second day.)
