anyone ells get satisfaction in this sorta thing?

I feel good when I send parts out to keep a machine running, or when I ditch something I don't like to somebody who does like it. Getting rid of a unit I do like would almost be like giving away the family pet.

As much as I dislike eBay, it's pretty great to sell something and have the buyer keep you updated on what's happening with the device. A few systems even got put in online museums, which was neat.
