The OSI Challenger 1P is one of my favourite vintage machines...mainly because it has that real 70's feel i.e. the impression of being assembled in someone's garage!

Were they popular in NZ back then.

No, I don't think so Bill. I've only seen one other one for sale here (painted Orange!). I seem to recall seeing an advertisment or two but perhaps that was in an Australian magazine.

Perhaps with the exception of Commodore and Edixy, I get the feeling that U.S. manufacturers focussed on the domestic market rather than trying to push into overseas markets. New Zealand is was right at the end of the chain in that regard.
