Televideo TS-380

This is a perfectly usable CP/M system.

It appears you're missing the fuse and fuse holder, which would certainly keep it from turning on.

The TS-803 is a CP/M machine. I have a Televideo TS1605H which is the XT compatible version. Looks just like yours.
Hate to see it go to the scrappers though. It's heavy so shipping would be high and it would have to be packed really good to avoid damage in shipping.

Now, that was some fast trouble shooting and diagnosis.
Well done !
You wouldn't happen to be as good on TRS80 Model II's would you?

That's a unique and interesting computer. I wouldn't mind paying for shipping, but I'm not sure which would be more difficult to find: the fuse holder or CP/M software to run on it.

I don't imagine it'd be too hard to solder a new one inside the computer. Looking on eBay, it seems that the selection CP/M software is scarce, expensive, and not very diverse.

Really? You want it with or without hard disk support? The 803's aren't rare at all.

I'd like to get a Personal Mini however.

Looking for CP/M software in the produce section of a supermarket will give a similar result.
What does that tell you?

*Sold Pending payment. Possible local buyer so I won't have to worry about shipping it.

It is a beast. Probably weights 40lb+. Monitor and tower are a complete unit. Would indeed be very odd to ship.

Thanks

I can't tell if you're being purposefully fallacious or not. I can't find Apple II or Commodore 64 software in my supermarket, but I can buy it by the boxload on eBay.

Right, except we're talking about finding CP/M software.
Point being, you're unlikely to find what you want if you look in the wrong place.
There is a ton of CP/M software available, including boot media for the Televideo TS-803.
You just need to know where to look.

ByrdDog - didn't mean to hijack the thread. It's a sweet system and worth saving.

I uploaded the disk images for this system to Dave Dunfield's site a couple of years ago. You can download them there. Hopefully I made the right. I don't have the originals anymore.
