1 TI 486sxlc 50mhz $20.00
(Clips over 386sx 25mhz)
1 Intel 486SX-20 $10.00

if you dont want to ship to Australia, then shipping to my friend in Oregon is ok

on a side note.. the 8088-2 will be Fujitsu.. not Fairchild

also what are the die codes on the 2 VIA C3s.. will be something like AG40... or A240...

OK, fixed the Fujitsu chip. That chip came out of my first Turbo-XT when I upgraded it to a V-20. I bought a V-20 to upgrade my 5160 also.

I only ship within the Continental U.S. - If you have a friend who wants to ship it on to Australia, that's OK.

I have no way to test these chips. They are all AS-IS. But... They worked before they were pulled from systems.

I am attaching pictures of the VIA Chips. I never used these. I bought these years ago, and didn't use them.

I will also take the 1 VIA C3 800aMhz $15.00 << AG40QT0

Shipping will be to Oregon 97603
Send me total including shipping and I will pay by friend's method

on a side note
600 A320BV0 << CPUid 6.6.3 Samuel core
800A AG40QT0 << CPUid 6.7.3 Samuel2 core

also I am guess the 600 is a 1GigaPro marked processor.. not a C3 marked processor

The prices include shipping. Knock $4.00 off for combined shipping. Or, if you leave it in, I'll ship via Express Mail.

The 600mhz part had another label on top that I've tried to remove without success. I can't see what it's marked as on top. It's a bit scratched up, but that shouldn't hurt the operation.

Send me a PM, and I'll send you my PayPal address.

If you're looking for other CPUs I've got quite a few that are available, tested, working... and I will ship them to Australia. Why pay double shipping? :) Just lemme know what you're looking for.

I had heard of the C3 but never actually seen one.
The Cyrix III / C3 was a low power processor designed for embedded systems.. never intended to compete with Intel & AMD mainstream products.
But I am surprised they didn't gain popularity with the over-clocking scene

Low power.. low heat and even thou the multiplier was set in the CPU hardware you could turn off the multiplier using bios software

Naughty of you trying hijack the thread ;)
It doesn't bother me if a seller is not wanting to ship to Australia.. it's their prerogative
My friend in Oregon combines my US purchases and ships 30 - 40lbs every couple of months.. often works out cheaper in the long run
As for what I am chasing.. hard to say
I have a collection of 100+ systems, 500+ boards/cards & 10000+ CPUs.. often I buy using pictures as 2 similar looking processors may have widely varying value to me
I am selling off some spare items I have at the moment to you give an idea

I have at least 5 of that variety.. 16MHz no logo & double sigma
guess where that seller got some of his stock from ;)
and I just sold him a big pile of early K6 & gold cap Pentiums

I had a PC Chips Book PC II with a "1 Giga Pro" 667 MHz C3 processor:

It ran OK with Windows XP, but the whole "giga pro" thing was nothing but a sham to get people to think these processors were comparable to much faster Intel and AMD chips.

But for what they were intended for, they did a great job.

1GigaPro had nothing to do with VIA.. some OEM bought the C3s and just re-marketed them to try and make a quick buck
It's like you buying a Intel Atom and re-marketing it as say "Server4000+"

I wouldn't be surprised if it was PC Chips... the company which brought us fake cache!
Well they certainly used them on some of their boards.. also used on some Mercury & ECS boards
The other remarketed C3 was the XP1000 Pro (a 733MHz Samuel 2) & XP2000+ (a 800MHz Samuel 2) used on Mercury boards
Think there was even XP1500.. not sure what speed that was.
