Okay, so I'm running Turbo Pascal 2.0 on Apple CP/M on the Virtual ][ emulator (don't ask why - it's just something I feel compelled to do).

And the problem is, I can't get out of the editor.

I have a manual for TP 3.0 which says you quit the editor using the Wordstar-like Ctrl-K D. But this isn't working. Ctrl-K inserts a '[' character. Does anyone know if this is an emulator issue or if TP 2.0 used different commands to TP 3.0. I've googled (a lot ) for a TP 2.0 manual but haven't had any luck yet. Any pointers would be appreciated.

I didn't, but now I have, thanks. One useful aspect of running TINST is that it basically gives you a full list of all the commands, which is handy. It appears that TP2 uses Ctrl-O Ctrl-D to quit the editor, which is why I wasn't having any luck.

I tried to be clever and turned on the printer while going through TINST, thinking that would give me a printout of the commands - but it didn't work. I'll have another go, but I might just have to write them down!
