Does anyone have experience with the 4 -pin NEC power bricks? They are tough to find. I see the ADP72 and ADP02 both look similar in power / connector. eBay markets the ADP72 as for the 4,000 series NEC Versa. However the manuals I see online lump 4000 and 4050 together and then 4200 series...

Also looking for an NEC 4,000 series power supply. This is the square 4-pin 13.5 volt version. Thanks!

Just picked up the same laptop. Glad to hear you got yours going. I am waiting on a hard drive caddy to get my build started. I had this laptop in college so rebuilding for a keepsake. Mine has the CD bay, but no floppy bay. Searching for one if anyone has an extra or parts machine.

Looking for a caddy for a NEC versa 6230. Picked up a great condition laptop, but it is missing the HDD and caddy. I already have a 2.5-inch drive for it. If not does anyone know the name of the NEC side for the 2.5 inch IDE connector? Thanks, Brian
