FDISK, FORMAT and SYS a 10 Meg PC/XT hard drive

This has been bugging me all week. In a nutshell I want to install DOS on my PC/XT's 10 Meg hard drive. FDISK shows a XENIX partition which it cannot delete. The Advanced Diagnostics Disk can do a low level format, but I still haven't wrote a working 5.25" disk (yet). DISKCOPY says...

Windows 95 Network configuration on 486

Ahah, its an Accton UK0022: Found the driver for it too (online -- not bundled with win95), loaded it up in the Network control panel, and everything works with static IP settings (DHCP still a no go). Welcome to Internet Explorerer 2.0!

Windows 95 Network configuration on 486

Yes. It throws an error message, "The DHCP client was unable to obtain an IP address ...." The cable is tested/good. I bet it is the IRQ/IO. When the auto-detect add new hardware wizard runs, it sets the IRQ to 3 and I/O address 300-31F. However, the IRQ is shown as *3, meaning there is a...

    Tiny Remote Control for DOS

Great stuff! RMENU is pretty easy to setup as a telnet server on a 5150, you just need to have a WATTCP.CFG file, the RMENU package, and load up your packet driver on at least DOS 3.3. The configuration options seem to be a pretty complicated though, and I find myself intensely studying the...
