Worked in the semiconductor & computing R&D world for 30+ years, "retired" to work in computing & electronics industry groups and am working in what is likely my final pre-real-retirement job as a Technical Program Manager for one of those groups.
I'm collecting vintage handhelds and "protolaptops" (think, TRS-80 Model 100) and, where needed, restoring/repairing them and the software that lives on them and lets them communicate with other things. In the handheld category, I've got devices from the mid-80s forward...with a particular fondness for the Apple NewtonOS devices.
Wife, dog, and me at home, two kids long grown and gone to their own families. US Pacific Northwest.
