What was the chip?

The conjecture is weather the chip has any speed gains if the L1 cache is disabled for compatibility reasons.

My board has 64k of cache although the chipset is gals and pals. Everex 1816.

I have some questions about the Cyrix 386 upgrade chips. 1. Are the compatibility issues related to the onboard cache? Does not enabling it negate those issues? 2. Are there any speed benefits without using the cache? Does the 486 instruction set provide tangible speed benefits? Thanks Bob

Anyone know what the RJ11 port on the side of this Belkin F1D066 KVM is for? Its not mentioned at all in the manual. I would assume remote triggering but how would I use it? Thanks
