Midwest FS: West MI, Apple II+, Apple II Cards, other systems

Mr Kola has ignored all commination and demand letter. If you see a CIB C128, atari 65XE, or 520ST for sale by a shady bearded 30something at VCF Midwest, please take a photo. Don't harass anyone, I'm sure other people have these machines, but the st especially is shown in photos here and can...

Midwest FS: West MI, Apple II+, Apple II Cards, other systems

Mr Kola has started posting photos of the items he stole from my house, including the Atari and Commodore computers in this post. He also banned me and anyone else from his discord for bringing up that he stole them.

Best option for hosting vintage computing files

I do still retain a cheap HTTP VPS. It is quite useful for downloading files to machines that do not support HTTPS. For example I have a surprising number of ethernet capable macintoshes that will never meet modern TLS spec, but I don't mind hosting CD or disk images for them on a server that...

Midwest FS: West MI, Apple II+, Apple II Cards, other systems

Thank you. Because the amount paid for the arcade cabinets themselves was reasonable / below market value already, the police took the report of items taken from the basement behind my wifes back / in excess of the agreement made for the arcade machines while I was incapacitated/in the...

Midwest FS: West MI, Apple II+, Apple II Cards, other systems

Thank you. We do have the persons real name and address, Kefier M from Big Rapids MI. So far we are awaiting the police report process, and thankfully several communities like VCF and similar to KLOV are looking out in the arcade and vintage computer communities for me and my family. I've been a...

Midwest FS: West MI, Apple II+, Apple II Cards, other systems

Applefritter administration asked me to state that they don't see a user by the name Mr Cola or similar. So he name dropped a forum for my wife's trust, and can't actually be tracked to it is what it looks like.

Midwest FS: West MI, Apple II+, Apple II Cards, other systems

The atari and commodore computers are missing after buyers came by for 3 arcade machines while I was hospitalized. The only items the buyer was supposed to take were 2 arcade cabinets and their related games. Any microcomputers in this sales post if seen in central michigan, PLEASE report them...

Midwest FS: West MI, Apple II+, Apple II Cards, other systems

Machines have been priced on craigslist, if you are in west MI and we can avoid shipping, let's talk! Prices definitely flexible for VCF member(s) picking things up. https://muskegon.craigslist.org/sys/d/muskegon-apple-ii-macintosh-se-vintage/7738360501.html Apple II+ with several expansion...

    Early Computers and Electronic Music?

I've done a lot w/subtractive and FM, not much with wavetable. I have a standalone tracker (Called the Polyend) that is apparently also a wavetable synth. I should do more with it.

RGsB (RGB Sync on Green) output to VGA/HDMI/DVI

Extron wise, the ss200 IIRC will happily strip sync on green to RGBS or RGBHV. They used to pop up cheap here and there. Then you'd have to use any other device like rgb-dvi or rgb-hdmi, which could get pricy extron wise but are nice devices. I probably have an extra ss200. Only hitch is one...

Announcing ZuluIDE - an ATAPI CD-ROM and Removable (read-write) media emulator

If and when proper DVD support is finished, there will be an immediate demand for these from arcade operators. Systems like the namco 256 keep [IDE] optical discs spinning all the time, in unfriendly environments, but are still in use. Along these lines, in an already real world example, I would...

    Pacific Northwest ***WANTED MACINTOSH SE***

I may be able to do that for the double floppy SE I have, the CRT on it is super clean, and since it's not recapped and upgraded that may be a reasonable price, less freight. If you would like, I can get that one out for photos.

Midwest FS: West MI, Apple II+, Apple II Cards, other systems

Hey all, Looking to see if anyone here in west MI is interested in a II+ or one of my other systems. I sadly need to thin the herd a little bit, but if would be cool to see some of these go to good homes. First up I have a II+, which has a new reactive micro PSU within the last 2-3 years, and...

    Pacific Northwest ***WANTED MACINTOSH SE***

What is your budget and are you willing to cover the cost to ship? I can double box etc., but I am in MI so it's a ways. I have 2 spare SE's though. One is very loaded out, one is functional and could use an owner who wants to do the work. Mac SE Yellowed case, but Fully recapped in 2018...

    resurrecting/upgrading power mac 7500/100

Are you in the US? I have a fully working (last I checked, a couple years) parts 7500/100. The original owner painted it purple, hastily, but the actual board, memory, etc is all fine.

    resurrecting/upgrading power mac 7500/100

It's been a moment since I restored mine but I seem to remember holding a reset button for about a second every time I make any changes to the machine, before powering it on. Much more about it here though https://68kmla.org/bb/index.php?threads/powermac-7500-100-dead.19371/

Did MacOS ever have any sort of scripting ability?

My mind starts to wonder into what you could do with the HFS (presumably) volume on other systems, i.e. Basilisk II or HFS Explorer. But if you could script it within Basilisk you could script it on the machine, though, probably infinitely faster in basilisk...
