    Overview site - PDP-1/8/10/11 replicas

I think we should also mention it runs WAITS, the Stanford AI lab system. And TOPS-20, although it’s anachronistic to run it with a KA10 console. There has also been some work on bringing up TENEX.

Happy DEC-20 and Merry New PiDP!

The replica is supposed to run TOPS-20 in all it's extended addressing glory. Of course that's utterly inappropriate for a KA10 console, but who am I to judge?

Steins;Gate, amirite? Not for sale just yet. Plastic case is supposed to arrive to Oscar's factory late January next year.

    Magic Switch anniversary

    - Huston, we have a problem! - Check the magic switch. Which way is it set? - Er, it's set to "magic". - Well duh! Set it to "more magic"!! - Roger. That fixed the problem.

ITS, the Incompatible Timesharing System - soon 4 for 4?

ITS was developed on the MIT AI lab PDP-6 in 1967. It was soon ported to the newer PDP-10 with the KA10 processor. Two more KA10 ITS systems followed. In 1975, a fast KL10 machine was purchased for developing Macsyma, and ITS was ported to it. In the early 1980s, the KA10 machines fell into...

    Remaking Knight and SAIL keyboards

That would be nice; so far I have around half of that. Numbers from manufacturers are in. Looks like BOM for one keyboard will be $300 or so.

    ITS on simh PDP10 emulator.

Sorry for necroposting, but FYI we do have the latest Zork compiled with MDL 55 on ITS. (ITS version 55 corresponds to TOPS-20 MDL 105.) Just waiting for MIT approval to release files, which can take some months or years.
