I have a 1975 SWTPC 6800 computer for sale.
LOCAL PICKUP - Due to the troubles with shipping CRT tubes, and fragile electronic devices, I will need the purchaser to pick this up near Greensburg, PA (about an hour East-Southeast of Pittsburgh.)
There is also a non-working SWTPC CT-82 CRT monitor included. The outer case of the terminal looks pretty good, but will need some retro-cleaning. More importantly, I tried to test it out. It powered up, and I could hear the fan spinning up. But after a short while, there was a bright flash, a loud bang and a lot of smoke; yep, I let the magic smoke out.
This is why I normally let the purchaser do the testing.

The computer will remain untested until the buyer receives it. It looks very nice, and inside looks complete. I removed all the cards a couple of years ago so that they could survive a move to our new home. Each card is inside an anti-static bag, and wrapped in bubble wrap, and they are all placed inside the case.

The following cards are included:
Included is a binder with all the assembly notes, along with many handwritten notes from the person who assembled the system. I also have another box with much more documentation that I will be dragging out in the next day or two - all of the SWTPC docs in that box are included.
I asked for $750, but I saw one on e-Bay for $1500. I would like to get a good price for this, but would rather have it go to someone who would appreciate it for the history that it represents. Please correct me if this price is badly off (high, or low.) This is one of the three computers that came out the same year that I got into computing, but it is time for me to clear out some of my treasures to make way for my newer projects.
