I ordered a refurb Lenovo Thinkpad T430 on boxing day, it came in today!
Tested, all seems working, and there's a 90 day hardware warranty too.
i5-3320m 2.6ghz
8GB RAM
1TB HDD
This has 2 usb 3.0 ports, one normal usb 2.0, and one always on usb 2.0, vga, 3.5mm headphone/mic port, display port, multi-card reader, DVDRW drive, etc. Everything I need.
It also just looks good, I like business laptops. Even though the keyboard is the more modern Lenovo style, it still has great tactile feel, and is a joy to type on.
The hard drive can be easily swapped out and upgraded with a larger one, or even an SSD, the RAM is easy to get to to upgrade up to 16GB with a door on the bottom, and I hear that since it apparently uses a socket motherboard that even the processor can be upgraded, up to a 2.9ghz i7, IIRC.
the inside of it is very clean and good looking for something that's used, almost new looking actually. The top has some finger smudging and stuff which just needs cosmetic cleaning, but I will have to research what to clean with as I don't want to ruin the finish, like I did on an old Thinpad 380XD from 1997.
I am definitely happy with my purchase decision.
