Addmaster 601-1 paper tape reader schematic ?

I'm looking for a DEC PC04 paper tape reader/punch for my 8E and have the complete document set for the PC04, but it seems unlikely that I'll get the chance to acquire a PC04 anytime soon.

I do have this Addmaster 601-1 paper tape reader, but can't locate any documentation (schematic, tech manual, etc...) for it. I'd like to think I could connect the Addmaster 601-1 reader to a PC8E interface if I could locate a schematic for it. Thank you.

I doubt that the two are very different from the photos I can find. Basically a bunch of LEDs and phototransistors buffered through some inverters, with a flip-flop generating the strobe signal.
