I dunno - a 1942 is a NICE monitor to have, assuming it works.
I had a 1960 I gave a friend last year. Had it about 10 years.
Took it to a TV repair shop about 6 years ago, and they fixed it for like $20.
blown cap, I think? So, not too expensive to maintain, and they are TRUE multisync monitors, going all the way down to (I think) 15.75kHz, which is NTSC frequency. That freq wasn't by accident....
