Well, I had $0.87 in ebay bucks to spend, and some time to kill, so I went trolling through the "Everything Else" section of ebay, looking for something I could buy for $0.87. My Paypal account is dry, so $1.50 was my upper limit. :) I know that ebay likes to nag when you do a listing about how auctions that start at $0.99 with free shipping are blah blah blah times as likely to sell. They don't say how often the seller makes a profit, of course. So, after looking through crappy .pdf files, Yugoslavian money, and porn, I found this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Apple-IIGS-...2JJ%2FrWO1OKq%2FtrsTE%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
So I bid $1.50 against the $0.99 opening bid, and won the damn thing. And the seller shipped it about an hour after I paid for it. I was thinking they would balk on it, to be honest. I wonder how much they lost on fees and shipping. Anybody need some GS parts?

It's a good thing it was only $0.99. The seller put bubble wrap around the GS, but not enough, and the clowns at the Post Office shattered the case. Or the seller spiked it before he shipped it. Oh, well, I'll pull the RAM, ROMS, & CPU, then trash the rest.

I was going to say "good for you. most sellers would just try and screw you" after reading the OP but then I saw this so...... At least you got the parts for cheap.... I had a seller last week refuse to ship out because it sold for to low of a price (I was the only bidder). Oh well...

That blows. No insurance by chance I guess? Er.. well maybe you're ok for $.99 without the hassle.
