An Open Invitation

I'm sorry that I won't be able to make it.. but I just wonder what is considered ' Appropriate Attire' for civilians?

Heck, as far as I'm concerned, t-shirt, jeans and boots! :D
The one thing I'm never is formal.

If I were still living in San Antonio I'd be there in a heartbeat.

Unfortunately the drive from San Jose would be prohibative. . .

Congratulations!

Congrats Curtis!!!

I would have to wear blues: http://www.IBMMuseum.com/Navy.jpg

I actually am a little out of uniform (another service stripe is needed, and at least one more ribbon) because you should be able to tell I will retire soon too.

But half of that time was in the Army, so I can wear greens too: http://www.IBMMuseum.com/Army.jpg

Or formal civilian: http://www.IBMMuseum.com/Civilian.jpg

I'm just a state away, but so busy I am having to schedule sneezes right now.

Danged IT2, or is RM2?? Or just sarge?

Brother, it's good to see someone else in the Canoe Club here!

Where about you stationed? I'm doing sort of out of rate working at a recruiting district, NRD Dallas, wrapping up the 20. Started running a recruiting station, but for some reason my blood pressure kept spiking no matter how many pills the dr. gave me. Ended up sticking me in the SysAd office. Wonder why they picked me for that???

Currently it is IT2. Before for my Navy active time I was an STG. Couple of years ago I swapped back to the Navy Reserves from the Army (you have it right to say Sergeant, or informally as a "Buck Sergeant" for the E-5 position).

More like a kayak here. I'm landlocked too (drilling in Albuquerque), and my Reserve unit is Seabees to boot. Jack of all trades, master of none for the last 20 years.
