I have a quite complete TRS-80 Model I.

Main unit, keyboard, Radio Shack monitor, I think the cassette drive
is in there. Had a floppy drive and maybe the expansion chassis.
Various manuals and disks, and dust cover.

All this is in two large original boxes as shipped to/from Radio Shack.
(except floppy drive isn't in original packing, I think it's aftermarket)

I got this from the original owner, who I happened to work with in the
1980s. He retired about a year ago and moved far away and when
they were packing up the house he asked me if I wanted it.
Of course at the time, I did.

Now, though, I don't want it. I've never put power on it.

Before I go through the unwanted work of getting top dollar on the 'Bay
and having to ship it, is there anybody interested in a local pickup in the
Washington DC metro area? If so you can make me an offer.
If there's interest I'll drag it all out and take pictures and inventory.

A trs-80 model 1 will always have interest. Should get ya a few cases of beer in the least. The market's been weird on them the last few years, sometimes they sell well sometimes they don't. The accessories definitely make it an easier sale though vs just the system. Some fairly complete ones have popped up on epay not that long ago for $350 but sat there for quite some time. But definitely worth saving/selling/humoring offers :) First computer system from Tandy/Radioshack, era 1977 which is pretty neat.

Last chance on the Model 1. I've decided I don't want to deal with eBaying it.
Goes to the dump on Tuesday if no response.

It's pickup in Wash DC area. See first post for specs.
