Apple 2 GS specs: rom 01.
Put in a new 8mgs of ram. None of the slots are populated. I have a apple 3.5 external drive. I have a emu set on 3.5 with the latest gs/os. No hard disk storage yet.
I'm thinking about the compact flash. I have a 5.25 disk drive with prodos with a disk controller. The 3.5 drive connected in smart port was able to format the 3.5 disk using prodos. I don't have an RGB monitor so I'm using the composit. Of course it looks like crap. Ok on to the question.
I got a yellowstone disk controller about a year ago. I'm pretty new to the vintage world so I couldn't get the darn thing to work at the time I was messing with a apple 2 e enhanced. after reading the docs a 100 times I still can't get this damn thing to work in my 2gs. I've tried every combination slot. Yes I've been in the control panel. Setting YOUR DISK. As of right now yellowstone slot 7 emu drive 1 image 6.0.4. The emu does load through smart port and boots gs os. I hope I was clear enough. Please help.
