Apple //e floppy card detection?

I am considering getting a Floppy EMU to use with my Apple //e.

I do have the card inside it for the floppy interface, but is there any utility/command I can use to check if it's working before spending money on a floppy emu?

Of course it'd have to be something I could type in, or use through the cassette input.

You can really check it only with a fully working drive. And even better with 2 working drives, to check the second port too.
