The stands are ridiculously priced so I combined two of my hobbies and made my own

Only question now is... stain or paint?

I used to use something similar. Mine extended forward more because I left the lid off my IIe for cooling.

I see the white keycaps; Is that the early model IIe thats in the II plus style case (with the velcro tabs)?

I have never seen an "A" but apparently they are pretty rare and cannot run the enhansed chipset... or do not support all aspects of it (video modes I believe). Would love to try one out.

Nice work. For finishing it what I would suggest is priming it 2 coats with Benjamin Moore oil base primer lightly dry sand with 320 between coats. Bring your iie lid to a Wallour that has a color matching computer and have him scan the lid for color. Use a satin oil base with a 6” cloth mini roller (Home Depot), 2 coats sand 320 lightly between coats. That’s the procedure I used on my upright arcade cabinets and the results are phenomenal. You’ll be very pleased.
