Got a request from an outfit needing Atari 800 tape data recovery.

We don't do what might be best described as home entertainment systems recovery; is there someone out there who is willing to do this on a professional basis (i.e. can do this as a business)? If so, I'll refer you to the client.

Wouldn't it be possible to recover this data using a modern computer and just recording the data out of a tape deck? I know of people doing this to back up patches on synths that used only tape to save data.
