What is the best way to test the 256k-1mb RAM expansion card in a Laser 128 computer?

I can format it as a RAM disk, and it "verifies" in Copy II Plus, but that clearly doesn't test anything. I can put files in there that seems to work, but I want to make sure it is all working 100% reliably.

I tried MECC Computer Inspector, and it seems to recognize the expansion, but always complains about "Needs Repair" with Error code "FF" at 000000 and later at 022000, even after swapping chips around.

I'll test the chips in another system, but I still would like to make sure it is working as intended.

Looks like you just need to do the following:

call -151
C50AG

From the BASIC prompt. That will put you in the monitor, then run the built in RAM test for the expansion RAM, I found a write up on it here:

Thanks. That ran, recognized the installed RAM, and didn't indicate any errors.

Also, the chips tested fine on a clone XT motherboard, so no idea what that MECC Computer Inspector is complaining about. It must not be fully compatible.
