Blogs offline?

I'm getting error messages from the blog server about database failure. Is this affecting everyone? What progress on restoration?

On a side note, I've been getting DB error messages whenever I try to access my user profile. I'm betting it also applies to other users accessing their profiles.

database error on blogs - check (as in "yes - I too get this error")
database error on my profile - check

Hopefully, some admin will fix the trouble before the whole database (forum) goes corrupt...

I see the blog error but my profile page to me seems fine unless you all are digging somewhere further.

What happens if you try my profile page then? Or Ian's?

Good question. If I view your or Ian's profile I get the database error you all receive. If I view mine it's fine.

That's odd that you're getting the error for our profiles and not yours. I'm getting the same results as Barythrin.

I don't think it is odd, I think it is scary - it points to data corruption in the database somehow. Let's hope it is something simpler to fix.
