Here's a new product review, at the web site which supports my (not for
profit) Computer Collector Newsletter.

The review compares the new C64 30-in-1 joystick to the new Atari Flashback console.

To read it, just go to http://news.computercollector.com, and click the
"product reviews" link.

Enjoy!

Sorry, the page seems to be out.

While you mentioned this product, would you mind doing a review of it here?

At least it we'll be able to read about your views about it if you don't mind.

Cheers,

CP/M User -- the link is fine, somehow the comma in my message got stuck into the hypertext. So click here: http://news.computercollector.com and then click the 'product reviews' link on that page.

There is one very nice hidden feature of the C64 joystick that I didn't know about until recently: if you shake the joystick side-to-side very fast at start-up, it'll take you into a secret BASIC mode! There's a whole web site explaining that and other DTV hacks at http://jledger.proboards19.com/index.cgi?board=dtvhacking

And Europe now waits for the D2TV, which is the name of the PAL version. Competition is tough; my local toy store soon has a dozen different TV games for sale. It'll be interesting if these units find their way into traditional toy stores too, like they did in the US.
