Compact Flash card to SCSI Adapter

hd emulation

hd emulation

Just think. if I had one, I could put it in a Jazz drive chassis. I could do the following:

PC parallel port -> Jazz Traveller -> SCSI Jazz -> CF to SCSI emulator.

Now all I need is something that'll emulate something to CF.

I sent them an email for pricing, and for a whitepaper. I'll post back with what they get back to me.
I hope it works better than the website...

Acard AEC7726Q

Acard AEC7726Q

Nice. The Acard AEC7726Q is a LVD SCSI to ide bridge. You'd still need a hd-68 connector to whatever the 358 has, but, by the book, should work. Dou you actually have the two controllers ?

Ouch !

Ouch !

The SCSI to CF bridge is 750 pounds (UK). Too rich for my blood. I have the manual for it, it's to big to post, pm me with email or ftp, or something, and I'll get it to you.
Darn. Would have been nice...

Very cool, saved the link. Only detraction is you'd still need a 50-pin to hd adapter, since most of the ISA scsi controllers (at least, the ones I know of) have a 50 pin header on the internal connector.
Does anyone know of a ISA wide-scsi controller ?

Would a wide-SCSI controller make any sense on an ISA bus?

ISTR that the bandwidth of wide-SCSI/SCSI-3 is about 20MB/sec. That's way more than a wimpy little ISA bus can do, isn't it?
