Hello and thank you! I'm not entirely sure what you are asking, but if you don't want to use (or don't have a working) original Conner drive there have been people that have used IDE to CF and IDE to CD adapters with success. I cannot vouch for which ones work best though, as I have never used one in an SLT. There are some later Conner drives that work well in the SLTs too.

I just read how happy you were to find a working Conner 20MB. I thought you might be able to have mine as soon as the conversion to CF was finished. If it's lying around at my place it won't get any better.

I appreciate the offer but me being in the USA I think the shipping cost would probably make it not worthwhile, especially with the tariffs fiasco and all.
