Hey there!
So I found this at a thrift store. As far as I can tell its a terminal emulator card for connecting an IBM PC to an IBM Mainframe. It has a manufacture date of 1983, and the card itself appears to be either unused or in remarkably good condition. Not a spec of dust on it. Box is in reasonable condition, some staining but its not crushed or torn. Includes the manual, and reference diskettes in both 5.25 and 3.5 inch formats. I'm not sure if it has much use or value, someone paid $30 for the documentation on the comms protocol this used on eBay but no bare cards or CIB examples have sold recently. I think $40 shipped is a fair initial asking price for a boxed, complete IBM expansion card.
I haven't tested it at all. I really don't do computers older than the mid 90s. Price is heavily or best offer OR I will consider trades (Slot 1 or Slot A motherboard, AGP graphics cards, big box PC games, etc. I'll consider most things reasonably up my alley).
