complete NeXT cube / osborne-1

Hello,

before i start publishing details and checking the state of my machines: Is there a marketplace/value for my complete NeXT cube and a original osborne-1 ? I understand that there might be a demand for such systems, but I am located in Western Europe (Switzerland) and world-wide shipping probably kills any deal.

Thanks for your reply. im in Zürich. I have a complete set. Cube, Keyboard, Mouse, Monitor, Laser Printer and some manuals and CD NextStep 3.0 and 3.2/Intel. Let me know if that would work for you and what you would offer.

There is certainly a market for both of those machines, you would not find it hard to sell them.

If you would like to maximize value, I would suggest putting them on an auction site with the best photos you can produce. Being willing to ship internationally will widen your audience and potentially increase the ultimate sale price.

If you would like to sell it on this website, there is a trading post section. Please read the stickies posted there to structure your post. Expect less return than from an Auction (but you won't have to pay fees).

If your priority is to minimize the amount of work you need to do for the sale, you can post it on Facebook Marketplace or the Swiss/European equivalent of Craigslist. Expect flaky people, and less value capture than you would get on an auction site, but because the buyer can inspect it this is generally going to be the least work for you.
