Hi,
I have a SHARP PC-1421 pocket computer, which is essentially a variant of the Sharp PC-1401/PC-1403 line (in the US called the EL-5500).
The SHARP-1401 line was made to dock with a printer/cassette interface (the CE-126) using an 11-pin interface. These are very hard to obtain today.
However, I was able to pick up a CE-122 cassette/printer interface, mean to be used with the older SHARP PC-1211 pocket computer. It uses a 9-pin interface to connect.
Although they are not physically compatible, I'm wondering if there's any likelihood that some of the pins are electrically compatible, and the CE-122 could be made to work with the newer PC-1401 line.
