  • From now on we will require that a prefix is set for any items in the sales area. We have created regions and locations for this. We also require that you select a delivery option before posting your listing. This will hopefully help us streamline the things that get listed for sales here and help local people better advertise their items, especially for local only sales. New sales rules are also coming, so stay tuned.

Southeast Michigan. One of the 3 terminals powers up properly. Another powers up but shows nothing, and the third does not power up. Includes 3 matching keyboards; 1-3 keys on each keyboard do not work; all keycaps present and I just removed a few to photograph the underneath. Includes matching printer which seems to work but has no ribbon. Includes 2 original boxes for keyboards, 1 original box for one of the terminals, and a bit of paperwork found in the terminal box. No telephone receivers are included. This all came as one set from Computer Reset in Dallas, Texas.

The working terminal can do a keyboard test and go into some of the settings. It seems to be stuck on a "load in progress" message which I think means it is waiting for something from the long-estranged host.

I am willing to meet at VCFMW 2026 for sale if they don't sell before then.

Additional photographs. The data connections of the printer are DB-25, plus a Centronix that seems unusual and I haven't found a cord that connects to it.

Color terminals - cool!
Do you have photos of the PCB with the CPU and video chip?
Could be interesting units to hack

I don’t have photographs of those. Theoretically I could try opening one of the non-working terminals, but I don’t like opening CRTs.

Update: The printer has no ribbon, but appears functional. Got it to print part of a test page, but could not print anything from DOS. The printer has the Davox brand on the outside, but inside it is branded Genicom, which is a company that has made printers and other computer peripherals for decades. According to ChatGPT, the printer likely is currently in terminal mode, but likely has the ability to switch to different printer protocols, including PC compatible. No instructions, though, so it is a matter of pushing buttons until something happens.
