One possibility is that "C1048" refers to 2SC1048 (Japanese transistor). The Japanese part markings often omit the "2S" part.That's a hard one. AFAIK, the G226 is the only thing that uses it (though it seems something else must). The schematic doesn't list an EIA equivalent. The "Spare Parts List Volume II" lists the DEC 10A:
