Digital Group TVT acquired

This was a major grail for me given it was the digital group's first product, apart from the paper "packets". Never thought I'd see one come up for sale, let alone win one at auction, but here we are.

Not sure how I'll utilize it yet.. I could integrate it into my Mark-8, or make it into a standalone terminal like Bryan Blackburn did.

It's been a long while since I looked at that board. IIRC it's dumb a a rock.
No ability to scroll, insert/delete characters. no cursor control.
In fact no processor. Everything was done by redrawing the screen.

But still a nice example of Digital Group's early products.

Yeah it's not a very useful thing for sure, especially with the double spacing of text. But then the Mark-8 was pretty limited too. But as a digital group fan, the only thing that would beat having this for me is an original copy of Packet #1. Or maybe the Bytemaster.
