Greetings everyone, I'm restoring an Apple IIe which has a parallel printer card containing a 2716 driver eprom. the eprom is marked 'NEC TEC C-ITOH' I think this refers to the kind of printer it is intended to be used with,
A search showed a picture of a similar card marked 'EPSON' , this would most likely suit my needs better. If anybody knows how to re-configure the settings in this eprom I would like to give it a try, or replace it with an actual epson eprom image. I have no information on the card but it seems to partly work with the printer.
My printer is a recently acquired very old Star 9 pin dot matrix DP8480 - I dont have a manual for it either but it works in the basic mode.
Any help or suggestions gratefully received, David.
