That, I'm not sure - I've had CFFA cards for years and have learned to stick with fairly well-known brands like SanDisk. I think I have a Viking brand in my Technobyte card now. But I don't have any no-name CF cards in my hoard.Does it require any special CF brand name card?
I agree stick with Sandisk, it's all I buy anymore, I have bought Viking and Lexar in the past with success, but many noname cards just don't seem to work all that well (or at all), or have failed in short order, just spend a bit more to begin with and save time and hassle and go Sandisk. That, I'm not sure - I've had CFFA cards for years and have learned to stick with fairly well-known brands like SanDisk. The problem is not in the CF cards if they work on other computers/readers, most likely it is in the CFFA itself.I agree stick with Sandisk, it's all I buy anymore, I have bought Viking and Lexar in the past with success, but many noname cards just don't seem to work all that well (or at all), or have failed in short order, just spend a bit more to begin with and save time and hassle and go Sandisk.
Does the type of SanDisk CF card matter? I see 2GB's that say Ultra, Extreme, some others that have nothing from China.
