DRAGON 32 RETRO COMPUTER

Maybe IC13 is faulty.

But I would test the input pins (Dn) first before you warm up the soldering iron!

The Q1 output is driven by the D1 input.

Likewise the Q4 output is driven by the D4 input.

I have no idea how the details in post #18 came about...

Dave
I have signal on inputs D1 and D4...

I am going to call IC13 faulty...

I would check the D1 and D4 inputs to IC13 whilst using the IC13 clock input (on pin 11) as the oscilloscope trigger.

But, unless you have been doing some reading up and practicing with your oscilloscope, that will be beyond your current skill level...

Dave

You can also see some 'artefacts' on the screen that shouldn't also be there.

I am just wondering (still) if this is a SECAM system trying to be displayed on another (closely-related) Standard?

Dave

The artefacts were present in his first capture with the newly built RGB cable...and the colors were mostly right. Now, after fixing it, seems that color has gone nuts. Weird.
