So I've been mucking about with a Covox Clone on my Tandy 1000 EX and the results frankly sucked:
So I've been reading up a bit more on the eccentricities of the Tandy Printer port and found this thread:
http://www.vcfed.org/forum/showthread.php?33992-Tandy-1000-Parallel-Ports-Part-II
which mentions the following:
I assume this should enable the Nibble mode (basic bi-directional function) from Gen 1 IBM LPT ports but I've been looking thru the EX Technical Reference Manual but I cant see any references to a "jumper" and I cant find much else on this - anyone know exactly what is meant by this?
I know the Select signal is on Pin 16 of the Parallel Chip and it's not connected to anything - I assume one would jumper this pin to another pin on the Tandy Parallel chip but I cant find anything definitive.
Anyone know more about this?
