A friend sent a PX-4 for me to go over, play with, and see if the Universal Backpack Drive and PX-8 style Dial-A-ROM will work on. The uBPD and DAR work! Was able to use burn a few PX-4 ROMs I found, including UTIL to the PX-8 style Dial-A-ROM. Once I was able to run CONFIG and TERM I was able to talk to the uBPD CLI, mount a virtual PF-10 drive and it just worked. Nice.

He also sent a ROM set he got with the machine labeled 'DAIGTERM 1.1'. I dumped both ROMs and it seems the programming was done by Borland and both the Epson and Apple names are also in there. When I try to load DIAGROM I get a 'BAD LOAD" error (I have tried the ROMs in each slot.)

I've found nothing online about this ROM set so far. I have attached the dump of the ROMs if anyone is curious.

My friend found that the 'BAD LOAD' is caused by not having enough free RAM to load the application. Zeroing out the RAM disk allowed it to load and run. Seems the program was written by Phillips, in B0rland Turbo Pascal, for the Dutch government and was used to diagnose medical equipment.

Sorry for nit picking a spelling/typing error, but you wrote DAIGROM instead of DIAGROM.
Might be worth correcting as it would help getting search results in the future.
