I posted a bunch of 8" disks in lots on eBay as auctions with low starting bids. They end this Monday. If the link doesn't show the disks at the top, just sort by ending soonest.

Some are originals and some are user disks for reuse.

I went through them and verified them through imaging. One lot has a few disks with 1-5 bad sectors but the rest were error free. I'll post the images on Internet Archive eventually.

Bid early so you don't forget, and you might be the only bidder and get a great deal.

A few photos of the lots are attached.

@BitWiz Thanks for your interest. I have two 8" floppy disk lots left, both Verbatim FD 34-1000 flexible disks, for a total of 11 disks. For reference, photos are at:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/167755920832

and

https://www.ebay.com/itm/167755920838

I don't know if they are double density or double sided since there is no indication on the disk label, and I can't find any information on the internet. Perhaps someone here knows from experience whether this model of floppy disk is DS/DD.

If you are interested in 5 1/4" floppies or 3 1/2" floppies, I have a few used verified disks laying around and I could put together a lot for you.

I'm happy to sell directly to you here for less than on eBay. Just send me a PM.

Thank you.

Double sided disks usually have two index holes or if they have only one it is in a different place then the single sided disks. I will post pictures of both tomorrow.

These disks have one index hole on each side located above the hub ring (not to the left or right).

Pictures would be neat to see.

Notice the position of the index hole. The one on the right (2D) is the double sided disk.
