Is this the NV with the PC133 DRAM? Bit of a pig that thing was. Case was nice, however.

I don't know. Black mini tower. I bought it knowing it was intermittent. I wound up trashing it. Life would be much easier for me lately if I had held onto some of my working Pentium era stuff.

The 478 Netvista I had was a low-profile desktop system. It did take SDRAM, which made it the slowest P4 system I had ever seen. Heatsink was copper, however. I got rid of the motherboard here, some time ago and the case now houses a socket AM3+ board that my lovely wife uses. Real desktop cases seem to be getting scarcer.

And it had an atx/uAtx board? Someone's going to have to start printing real desktop cases.

Yup, that's the critter. I even managed to back-port an LS120 floppy into the case. mATX low profile. Nothing fancy; quad-core Phenom II CPU. But it works for her for everything she does, including Zoom.

I still have elements of the case in my garage. It wasn't uAtx, which is why I tossed it. But somehow the desktop version is uAtx. It must be a conspiracy.

Looking at that photo again, I realize that it's not the same model as my wife's. This is her case.

I remember being mildly surprised at seeing a 512MB non-server SDRAM DIMM in the wild.

Turns out I have a box with an am3 Mobo (Sempron). Found it on the road. Still haven't taken it upon myself to crack the Windows 7 password. Was going to give it away, but that cutey pie case just might fit the mini itx Mobo I just ordered on eBay.
