Hi,
Does anybody have a source for the flexcable/flexpcb between LCD and mainboard for the Tandy 200 computer ?
Mine has several cracks in the cable and it seems somebody has already tried to repair it with silverglue.
For now I attached some standard flatcable to the ends of the original cable and confirmed the computer is working fine.

Regards,
Gert

Hi Larry,
Thanks for the links.

Pitch of the cable is indeed 0.1" (2.54mm) so rather coarse..
The ends of the cable just end in plated copper contacts, same width as the tracks (I cut those off to make a temporary solution)

The A9AAT series looks promising and adaptable, not sure how 'bendy' these are, the datasheet does not give any info.
The cable needs to flex/bend every time the lid opens/closes.

Just thinking of the end connectors, I could probably replace the header on the mainboard with some 90 degree pin header and use the A9CAG series and solder the end with the soldertabs directly to the LCD panel. That way the panel is still detacheable.
