Floppy drives for an 11/73 with an RQDX3.

Could it be due to the "./" you have in front of the file name? Are you running this with "sudo"?

The ./ is a path reference to the file, that's not it. Not running with sudo, because the permissions on the ttyUSB port are open (chmod). If you don't do that, you get an error.
 
I have seen the "./" confuse programs before. Was just a thought. I don't know enough about tu58fs to guess further.
