  • From now on we will require that a prefix is set for any items in the sales area. We have created regions and locations for this. We also require that you select a delivery option before posting your listing. This will hopefully help us streamline the things that get listed for sales here and help local people better advertise their items, especially for local only sales. New sales rules are also coming, so stay tuned.

Found someone selling a new V20 for $4USD

lol... if I meant the whole system I wouldn't have named the CPU, Id've named the system or said "XT" :p

Plus I would have bought it and then bragged, not posted here first... ;)

Indeed. I am the one who asked the seller, almost one year ago, if he would ship the chip to Canada. I've never been able to make him change his mind.
You could get someone in the US to buy it for you and forward it. Just don't tell the seller so he doesn't get pissed off. However, without logging in, the site looks like this:

Asking price:
CA$4.15
Shipping: CA$5.05
That's kinda funny. :) In most shops that implies a willingness, even desire, to sell to Canadians. We're all different, but I'd be inclined to push the issue.

Perhaps that's what I'd do if I had relatives in the US, but I don't. Anyways, I would end up paying twice for shipping, plus a beer or something to thank that fellow person. Is it really worth it?

What pisses me off is the seller's unwillingness to ship outside the US. Does he think he's gonna burn in hell for eternity if he ships something to those damn "socialists" living up north?

The seller is not responsible for the price being shown in Canadian currency. The culprit is iOffer.
